A young girl grows up in the shadow of a legacy she doesn't understand. Her late mother, Amina, is a hero to everyone but a stranger to her. One night, her grandmother begins to tell her the story of the woman behind the legend — what she faced, what she gave, and the true cost of the world her daughter inherited. Amina’s Daughter is an AI-generated sci-fi short film created for the Astana AI Film Festival, inspired by the theme “The Future Worth Living For.” With this film, I wanted to explore what it might take to build a future worth living in, the sacrifices it could demand, and who might have to make them.
